The Colorado Men of Color Collaborative (CMOCC) is making a positive impact by addressing challenges faced by Black, Indigenous, and men of color (BIPOC) through programs focusing on education, mental health, social mobility, and leadership development. Their initiatives include the Futures Fellowship Program, which supports personal and career growth, and events like the upcoming Mental Health Summit 2024, which emphasizes self-care, trauma awareness, and wellness resources. They also host the annual “Excellence in Education Gala” to honor educators and advocates in their community.


CMOCC’s core tenets prioritize sustainable practices, community involvement, mentorship, and professional development to foster confident and healthy individuals. By collaborating with corporations and community organizations, they aim to create opportunities for men of color to thrive in various aspects of life.

In 2023, the Colorado Men of Color Collaborative (CMOCC) started its work to uplift and support men of color across the state by fostering community, leadership development, and educational equity. The organization hosted various events, workshops, and gatherings aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by men of color, including those related to academic achievement, mental health, and career advancement. CMOCC focused on building networks of support, promoting leadership skills, and advocating for systemic change within both educational and professional environments. Additionally, the collaborative continued to work closely with community organizations, schools, and local leaders to create spaces that empower men of color and amplify their voices.
